After creating this blog (http://jambispirit.blospot.com) about 1 month ago and register it to various search engines, I try to type the title of one posted article "Installing XP with USB flash disk" in the search engine. Result, I do not see in a search engine (google). Where is my article? Finally, after sharing with other blogger, I suggested by them to create a meta tags in blogger.

After make a meta tag on my blog (june, 1st 2009), I am retry search in google with the same keyword : “Installing XP with USB flash disk”. Result, my article was detected by google at 7 th. Finally, I am conclude that a meta tag is very important, so that our blog be detected with search engine (example : google, yahoo, etc)

Below are the steps to install a meta tags in blogger (only for blogger):
1. Login to blogger.com
2. Click on 'Layout' and select 'Edit HTML' tab. Click 'Layout' and select 'Edit HTML' tab

3. Do not forget to check expand widget templates
4. Find the following code:

For the first time pupils will be taught about how to stay safe – from tackling cyber bullying to resisting pressure to join gangs – and how to manage their bank accounts when they grow older. But the most controversial element is making sex education compulsory, which has divided faith groups and safer sex campaigners who highlight the fact that Britain has among the highest teenage pregnancy rates in Europe.

For the first time in secondaries an optional curriculum covering sex and contraception in the context of relationships will be made compulsory – previously schools only had to teach the fundamentals of reproduction, contraception and puberty in science lessons.

A new curriculum for primary schools will include teaching five-year-olds about different kinds of relationships, managing their emotions and about physical changes to their bodies in childhood. At nine pupils will learn about "physical and emotional changes that take place as they grow and approach puberty", and by 11 about reproduction and about understanding their feelings as they enter puberty.

But faith schools will be allowed to deliver the lessons in line with the "context, values and ethos" of their religion, the report says. Parents will also retain the right to withdraw their child from sex education lessons, meaning some children will continue to miss out altogether.

Macdonald acknowledged that giving schools the right to apply their values was "difficult" and could conflict with the curriculum.

He said: "What we're trying to do, and I accept it's difficult, is find a balance between young people having an entitlement to knowledge, facts, information but where schools, particularly schools with a particular faith interest or other disposition, also have a right to put that in context of their particular institution. Parents have chosen to send a child to that particular institution knowing that will be part of the education.

"I'm not suggesting that's easy and I'm glad it's not my responsibility to do it. What we're looking for is some kind of balance between ... the entitlement of young people and how much schools have a right to put that in their context."

Macdonald's report also safeguards a parent's right to opt-out of sex education. Currently 0.04% of pupils are withdrawn from lessons, usually on religious grounds. Macdonald said that where parents withdrew their children it was up to schools to provide their parents with materials so they could cover the curriculum at home.

Headteachers are opposing the plans on the basis that they will add another compulsory element to an already overcrowded curriculum.

John Dunford, general secretary of the Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL), said: "While ASCL does not support the government's intention to make PSHE compulsory, we are grateful to Sir Alasdair Macdonald for producing such an eminently sensible report.

"The existing programmes of study in PSHE are, as the report states, fit for purpose and it is difficult to see why the government wants to turn this into a statutory requirement."

The schools secretary, Ed Balls, accepted the plans in a statement to the House of Commons and said the proposals will now be subject to consultation.

He said: "It's clear that if children are going to get a well rounded education which prepares them for life in the 21st century, PSHE has a key role to play.

"Most schools already follow the non-statutory curriculum, but current provision can be patchy. Compulsory PSHE will mean consistency and quality, so all children can benefit."

Run the file called "usb_prep8.bat" then the screen will appear Command Prompt window contains various commands. If you have any posts appear "Press any key to continue, press any key to confirm.
In the display window will appear asking you PEtoUSB format USB flash disk you. No need to change any settings, right click Start to begin formatting. Answer the confirmation according to your needs.

IQ Test Or IA Test?

An IQ test is supposed to measure one's "intelligence quotient," to provide a basic rating of how smart a person is. When we try to measure people in this way, we hope it will predict how well they will perform in either their profession or academic work. Of course we know that this doesn't work very well. We can all think of examples of highly intelligent people who are less successful than those with "weaker" minds.

In the world of academics, studies have shown that a student's habits of self discipline are far more likely to predict high grades than the score on an IQ test. Obviously the usefulness of the latter kind of testing is limited, but what is the alternative? On possibility is the "intelligence application," or "IA test."

The IA Test

The idea here is not to measure how well you can use your brain on "paper problems." This measuring of "brain potential" is what the IQ test is about. An IA score would be a rating of how well you actually apply your intelligence in your life. As far as I know, nobody has yet developed a systematic test of this sort. What would it consist of, then?

Most likely it would start with a standard IQ test of some sort. That measure of "what you have" would then be used in conjunction with a measure of "what you do with it" to come up with an IA score. The first number (your IQ score) might be added to or subtracted from according to measures of "application." But what would we use for these? There are many possibilities.

If we used income as an "intelligence application measure," we might start with zero for an average income for that particular IQ level, and add or subtract points for being above or below that. This is based on the idea that being more intelligent should lead to a higher income if one is applying that intelligence well. We could divide IQ scores into ten levels, and for each, find the average income or create a scheme for what ones income "should be." Then we could add a point for each level a person is above their "presumed" income, or subtract one for each level below.

Of course, this measure assumes that higher income is either an objective value, or at least a goal of the person being tested. That brings up the first serious problem with this new kind of test. Do we want to use an objective set of values against which to measure how well people apply their intelligence, or should we measure according to the person's own stated goals? There are tough challenges with both approaches. The first requires some agreement on what is universally valuable. The second assumes that people really know what they value.

This is the problem with the all the possible measures. We can create measures of some sort to see how well a person does in relationships, health maintenance, creative output, and even happiness, but we cannot so easily say what the value of those things is, or how much the person being tested really desires those things. At first this problem of standards and measurements may make it seem that we cannot develop an intelligence application test. But we can choose a standard (or develop two tests). As for the measuring, we already do it.

If you've ever said about a person, "He doesn't use what he's got," or "She's so smart, but she doesn't do anything with it," you were measuring. You can't say such things without having some idea of what a person could be doing better. These kinds of comments are a measuring of performance against that idea or standard. Granted it isn't precise, but it acknowledges that such things are measured.

The IA test would simply make it more precise. A statistician will tell you that when things are difficult to measure, you don't give up: You just measure more. For example, if all you have is flawed rulers to measure a door with, you don't use one once. You can get closer to a true measurement by using them all several times and taking the average. If you are measuring the relative happiness of people in various groups, whether the groups are determined by country of residence or IQ level, you can to some extent overcome the flaws in measurement by making enough of them. When a group consistently scores higher after thousands are tested using many methods, the data becomes more accurate and useful.

At the level of the individual, then, we would also want to measure many things in many ways, because of the uncertainty of any one measurement. We might measure income, as noted, but then measure again according to what income the person thinks would be ideal. We could also adjust this for age. We might measure success in relationships in six different ways, and the application of intelligence to household chores in several ways. Using all of these various measures, we might arrive at a IA test which can assign a score that actually means something. Or maybe not.

Perhaps the idea of "intelligence application" is most useful not for developing a new test, but for pointing out how flawed some kinds of tests can be. I've seen the same man score 70 on one IQ test and 140 on another, and I know of a millionaire who can't read. If after generations of these tests being used they cannot be more accurate or predictive than that, there may not be too much hope for an IA test either. Life itself is the real "IA test," and perhaps for a long time to come the closest measurements we'll get will be the intuitive ones that lead to the comments, "He sure knows how to use what he's got," or "She just isn't living up to her potential."

When Does it Make Sense to Get an English Tutor?

No one would deny that strong English language skills are a critically important tool in America and across the world. Unfortunately, many students suffer from underdeveloped reading and writing skills, weak vocabularies, and questionable mechanics (such as punctuation and spelling). There are many ways to improve English skills, some of which can be done independently and others which work best with guidance.

Perhaps the simplest and best way for anybody to improve their reading, vocabulary, and even writing skills, is by reading widely. I always become concerned if I find out that a student of mine is reading less than one hour a day. It doesn’t have to be a solid hour of reading- breaking it up into two or three chunks is fine. In New York City, many high school students spend at least an hour each day on the train- reading during their commute to school is a great way for busy students to make time for reading. By the way, reading doesn’t have to mean books- newspapers, magazines, and other short forms are equally valuable.

As an aside, reading is not the only way to enlarge and enrich one’s English language skills. Any activity that exposes a person to rich vocabulary and complex ideas is going to be helpful. Here in New York City, we have a wide range of opportunities that are often overlooked. For example, I recommend attending theater, literary readings, and even some of the more sophisticated walking tours. There are easily dozens (maybe hundreds) of vocabulary-rich activities to choose from each day. Many are even free or inexpensive.

Sometimes, I am approached by parents who just don’t know how to get their child or teenager to read more. With young children, the task is easier. First of all, I would suggest creating time for the whole family to read. This could mean reading to your child, having your child read to you, or just sitting near each other while you both read. I would also suggest being very non-judgmental about what your child chooses to read. Comic books may not be particularly sophisticated and reading The Chamber of Secrets for the twelfth time may seem dreadfully boring, but reading is one area where quantity really does seem to be more important than quality. Of course, if you have a moral issue with something that your child selects, you have to step in, but other than that, I would not pressure a child to choose books that appeal to you.

It’s much more difficult for parents to influence whether or not their teenager reads than whether or not their pre-adolescent child reads. If you are concerned about your teenager not reading, you may want to consider finding the right tutor to help you. I have had significant success by forming small book clubs (sometimes just myself and the student, sometimes myself and several students). In general, I arrange these book clubs so that we meet once a week for about an hour. In my experience, starting out with the expectation that students will read about 100 pages per week and gradually work up to reading about 300 pages per week works well. Selecting the right books is obviously critical. In order to be successful, the books selected have to be carefully tailored to appeal to the students involved. This is one of the areas where tutoring becomes more of an art than a science.

Just as the only way to become a strong reader is to read, the only way to become a strong writer is to write. Unfortunately, it is difficult for school teachers to teach writing because grading dozens or hundreds of essays or papers is astonishingly time consuming. For this reason, many students simply do not get the writing practice they need in school. Especially with elementary school age children, parents can do a great deal to encourage writing. Making writing a letter to grandma and grandpa a tradition is one great way to encourage regular writing in a deeply meaningful way.

Some students struggle with writing much more than other students. If your child has a particularly hard time with writing or you’ve recently realized that your teenager can’t put together a sensible essay, tutoring may be the way to go. Because writing can be so personal, I often find that it is much easier for a neutral adult to help children with the editing and drafting process than it is for parents.

As a tutor who has helped quite a few children and teenagers dramatically improve their reading and/or writing abilities, I have come to the conclusion that, in most cases, practice really is the answer. Of course, in situations where dyslexia or some other learning disability is present, additional treatment by a learning specialist is in order. Most of the time, though, the way to get results- often dramatic results- is just to make a habit of reading and writing. Getting there without tears and fighting is where the challenge lies, and that’s where professional tutoring can sometimes make all the difference.

Nothing beats originality. In a (virtual) place where that very thing is close to nonexistent, you'll get an edge by providing fresh content to your viewers. When I say fresh, I mean fresh; just another rephrase of that famous copy paste from Wikipedia won't do. You can try prodding your brain repeatedly if you can't come up with anything new, or look at some sources of inspiration, like paintings, blogs, quotes, books, and other forms of art and design which can motivate you into making the next multi-million-viewer blog, multi-million-earning company, multi-million-sold product, multi-million in anything you do. It's not really that hard; all you have to do is think to yourself "What haven't I seen before?
